Before launching Accountable, Tino was already an experienced entrepreneur and co-founder of some of Germany’s successful digital ventures, including Spickmich, the teacher-rating platform, and Promiflash, a leading lifestyle and celebrity news portal. Since 2018, Tino has been at the helm of Accountable, the fintech startup with the goal to revolutionize tax management for self-employed professionals all over Europe.
Tino’s academic journey is as diverse as his professional accomplishments. He pursued Business Administration studies at the University of Cologne and the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina. In 2008, he graduated as a Diplom-Kaufmann, equipping him with a strong foundation in international business.
During his studies, Tino gained hands-on experience at renowned companies like SAP France, Simon-Kucher & Partners, and the Deutsche Post DHL Group’s consulting division. These early roles honed his skills in strategic thinking, innovation, and execution.
Tino’s entrepreneurial vision and success have earned him numerous accolades, including being named one of “The Rockstars 50: The Biggest Names on Germany’s Digital Marketing Scene” and one of Germany’s “Top 50 Web Entrepreneurs” by Deutsche Startups in 2008. His contributions to the tech and startup ecosystem continue to inspire new generations of entrepreneurs.
Tino gained extensive experience in the tech and finance sectors, working across various roles that combined innovation with practicality, such as consultant, managing director and founder. His journey into entrepreneurship was fueled by his firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by independent professionals navigating Germany’s complex tax system.
